KB Homes - Disney Dream Rooms

KB Homes offers affordable family homes with kid's needs in mind. While dad can still get his finished rec room and mom can get the chef's kitchen, now KB Homes is offering up some mighty kid-friendly options to appeal to the younger members of the family.

Thanks to a recent collaboration with Disney Home, kids can choose from among four Disney inspired themes and transform their rooms into a magical place.

No more boring bedrooms, with the following new Disney Dream Room options available in all Colorado KB Home communities.

1. Hannah Montana Hangout Room: Inspired by the Disney TV series, this room is painted in bold colors with added butterflies and a beaded chandelier reflecting Hannah Montana's funky style.

2. The Cars Revved-Up Room: Based on the hit animated movie "Cars", this room has tire tracks woven right into the carpet, brightly colored walls, car mural and themed accessories.

3. Pooh Corner: In a recreation of the Hundred Acre Wood, walls are painted in a shade of green with woodland themed lighting, carpet and window coverings.

Princess Palace: Inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, this room is perfect for Disney princesses of all ages. Designers started with a very pink room and added a tiara-embossed carpet, jeweled chandelier and additional princess-like accessories.

All of the above KB Home packages include exclusive paint colors, carpet, window treatments, lighting fixtures, wardrobe doors, chair rails and other decorative accents such as oversized wall graphics and stenciling. In addition, buyers will also receive a matching Bedding Set as a finishing touch.

“This collaboration will bring an exclusively-designed Disney Home experience directly into the new homes of Disney fans,” said Pamela Lifford, executive vice president, global fashion and home for Disney Consumer Products. “The Disney Dream Rooms provide the perfect décor for every age from infant to tween, making it easier than ever to make Disney dreams come true.”

Denver model homes containing these Disney Dream rooms are available in the following locations:

Parkfield - Cottage/Open Series - These homes range from 917 to 2,312 square feet and prices start at an affordable $129,995 with 9 different floor plans to choose from. The Pooh Corner and Hannah Hangout rooms are on display.

Directions: From I-70, take Pena Blvd. heading north and exit 56th Ave. heading west. Turn left on Memphis St. to 54th Ave. and community on right.

First Creek - Crestline - These homes range from 910 to 1,609 square feet with prices starting at $84,995 (cheaper than a foreclosure sale!). There are five floor plans to choose from that include one and two story homes with two or three bedrooms. The Disney Princess Palace room will be on display here.

Directions: From I-70, exit Pena Blvd. heading north, then exit 56th Ave. and turn right heading east. Pass Tower Rd., turn left on Argonne St., right on 57th Ave. and left on Ceylon St. to community on right.

Berkshire - Single Family - Homes here range from 917 to 2,312 square feet and prices start at $109,995. Here you can view the Cars Revved-Up Room.

Directions: From I-76 East, take Exit 25/Lochbuie heading west and go .5 mi. to community on right.

what are some cool disney beddings?

i want a new comfortor/sheets with a disney theme. but not like little kid stuff with a bunch of the princesses, but something suitable for a 14yearold girl. maybe like mickey and minnie or something for a full sized bed. i'd like to find a good website with disney themed things like this or maybe just one in particular from a certain website. i checked the disneystore website but didn't find anything i liked. thanks to anyone who helps!
