How much dirt can a quad axle dump truck haul?

Need to get an est. on how many truck loads I will need of topsoil. I know weight does play a factor and the soil would be pulverized and screened. I have no idea how many cubic yards a quad axle dump truck can haul per load, my contractor told me at least 20 loads for 4'' of topsoil on 14000 sq. feet.

Don't know about a 4 axle,... but a regular 10 wheel dump truck can routinely hold 12 yards or around 14 tons. A 30 ft dump trailer (18 wheeler) can hold 22 tons or about 20 yards and would be more economical. (more material in each load is just a little cheaper)
