The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: More Words of Wisdom From the Twins

Buddy TV has previously reported on how the teenage twin stars of the Disney Channel's comedy series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody responsibly managed their full-time acting jobs together, along with the fame and perks that came with it. The Sprouse brothers continue to share more about what they think of their demeanors in the entertainment world, ever since they were less than a year old. During an interview with the Toronto Star, the brothers further expounded about their shared experience of growing up in public scrutiny as young celebrities, and how much of an impact it has had n their lives.

According to Dylan, the two of them began their acting career when they were eight months old, well before they were even aware what acting was all about. This initial step into the world of the boob tube was on a diaper ad for television. The two of them continued to work for both film and television, though more of their screen time has been accomplished on the latter. In the wake of doing commercials, they spent a good five years of their lives on the set of the sitcom Grace Under Fire, where they played the shared role of Brett Butler's son.

Eventually, they landed the roles of the titular characters on The Suite Life, having been well-prepared for comedy and for regular, daily acting work by Grace. Because of their career duties, however, they no longer have the luxury of attending a regular education and do most of their school work on the set instead. Dylan said that they devote at least three hours every day to their school work, usually during set break periods in between takes. The brothers also make it a point to schedule relaxation and downtime with their family, expressing the view that acting is simply another job and it wasn't that difficult to still maintain normal lives.

Question about Morals on the Disney Channel Suite life show?

Does anyone else think it's incredibly odd and maybe kind of wrong that the brothers on "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" have chased after and dated dozens of girls and they are only like somewhere between 5 - 12 years old, and that they have an immoral mafia like obsession with doing scams and making money in sick ways that are totally unhealthy for kids to even watch on the Disney Channel?

I agree with you completely. Lately, Disney has had shows and themes that aren't exactly 'child appropriate.' The shows usually play laugh tracks when people are hurt, and somehow it's funny to punch someone for no apparent reason.

For the shows "Hannah Montana" and "Wizards of Waverly Place," for example, the main characters are downright cruel to their siblings, but in the end it's all okay. And then the next episode is the exact same thing.

In that one show "Cory in the House," the show was basically centered around Cory and his greedy goals toward earning money. It's not a good example at all.

In the later episodes of the "Suite Life of Zack and Cody" there were places where innuendos were obvious, and curse words would have been said (both having laugh tracks).

I don't know what's going on with the children's shows these days, but it's no wonder that society isn't as mature as it used to be.
