Choosing the right Size Bed is an important consideration

When choosing the size of bed you think you will need, consider the dimensions of the room it will go in, depending on how much floor space you think you will need. Also consider your build and if necessary the build of the person sharing the bed, to avoid purchasing a bed which is too short or will not allow enough room for movement.
Buying the right mattress for your bed is important too, as you will want to ensure that you are buying the correct size mattress for your bed frame. Replacing old mattresses when they are worn out, as well as choosing the right type of mattress for your needs is important if you want to avoid back pain or sleep problems, such as trouble getting to sleep, trouble staying asleep or simply just not being able to nod off. Orthopedic beds may just refer to beds whose mattresses are a little firmer than most, so don't be swayed by the name, and test your bed out properly before you buy to check it is comfortable for you.
In order to determine which type of bed will be suitable for you, there are a few factors you may need to consider. Do you have a partner you share a bed with? If so, it is recommended you get the largest bed possible, such as King size Beds or Double Beds, to allow you and your partner room to move about during the night. Next, you will also need to take into account health issues which may also apply to your sleeping partner; namely height, weight, allergies and posture concerns.
The style of bed also counts, too. Is it a modern feel you're going for? Or a more traditional look? Beds also come in a variety of types from divan to futon, so think about any issues you may have such as limited storage space.

What size bed does a full grown labrador need?
My puppy is three months old and growing out of her first bed. I would like to get a full sized one now and fill it out with blankets until she's grown into it. Should it be 30", 32", 40"...?
I couldn't tell you the exact measurements, but Costco often carries large dog beds (big enough for my full-grown goldens - so they should be big enough for your lab), for about 20 bucks, which is reallly cheap for a dog bed.
You can always check Petsmart or Petco and look at their dogs beds that are supposed to be for large dogs - any large bed should fit her.
