flower girl baskets?
are there any alternatives to the typical overpriced flower girl baskets found in bridal stores?? can u make your own? or is there something else they can put their petals in?? my colors are black and white w/ pink. could i go with a cute wicker basket or is that too country themish since my wedding is not 'country'....what do u think??
I made a purse. When we ordered the bridesmaid dresses, I ordered a remnant of fabric as well. So then I made a little purse (basically triangle shape) with a pretty sparkly ribbon as the handle.
You could also have them carry one of those flower balls, pomanders. For a beach wedding, she could carry a sand bucket. For my rehearsal (tropical themed), I had my flower girl carry a lei.
Then again, most flower girls have an old easter basket you can use too. They get one every year and one is more than likely small enough to suit the bill. No wicker is not country at all.
