When is it ok to let my son start sleeping with a pillow?
My son is 18 months. He shows an interest in the silk pillows on my bed. After i change his diaper (yes on the bed.) He likes to run up to the pillows and bury his face in them and snuggle. I dont think he's still at that age where he can suffocate himself at night with a pillow. He still sleeps in a crib. A few months ago, I tried the pillow thing for one night, and all he did was wake up in the middle of the night (our pillows are almost flat, but not completely flat. i had given him one off the bed) and toss an turn until eventually he just turned around in the crib and slept at the other end and did just fine. Now he seems to have more of an interest in them. Is it time to start using a pillow? Do they make pillows for toddlers? Do i need to give him time to get use to it, OR should i just wait till he's around 2 and try the pillow then?
My older daughter didn't start using a pillow until closer to 2. My younger, 15 month old, likes pillows too but I think they are too big for their little heads and necks, even the flat ones. I think it's more a play thing at that age. Since yours went to the other end of the crib to sleep, I would wait until you transition him to a Toddler Bed and then try it again. I would also worry about the pillow in the crib as a way to step up and climb over the rail!

A few things i have constantly told men and women is that when evaluating a good internet electronics retail store, there are a few issues that you have to consider. First and foremost, you should really make sure to look for a reputable along with reliable store that has enjoyed great assessments and ratings from other customers and business sector advisors. This will ensure that you are getting along with a well-known store providing you with good support and support to its patrons. Thanks for sharing your thinking on this site.
